As most people know, this competition is held every 5 years.

In 2000, Yundi Li won 1st prize
In 2005, Colleen Lee won 6th prize

The next competition will be held this year. The results of the preliminary qualification have already been announced. See here:

* ONE pianist from HK …. Rachel Cheung!

Since Rachel is HK’s only hope in the competition this year, (whilst refraining from giving her too much pressure) I wish her all the best.
